What is Champions Planet?
Champions Planet is the place where Heineken and UEFA Champions League football come together, a space where Heineken fans and the UEFA Champions League fans are treated to unique and entertaining experiences in which they can participate.

I want to participate in the Quiz. How does it work?
The questions in the quiz are being updated every week. This means that you can participate every week and have the change to win prices. The quiz consists of 3 questions to be answered. The questions are based on the footage shown. Once you have answered the question, the correct answer is shown in green and it is accompanied by a video.

I want to participate in the Quiz. What can I win?
You can win tickets to UEFA Champions League matches or great Heineken prizes.

How do I know if I won a price?
All winners are notified by email.

I won a prize. Can I get the value of my prize paid out in cash?
No, the value of the prize will not be paid out in cash.

What is a widget?
In computer programming, a widget (or control) is an interface element that a computer user interacts with, such as a window or a text box. Widgets are sometimes qualified as virtual to distinguish them from their physical counterparts, e.g. virtual buttons that can be clicked with a mouse cursor, vs. physical buttons that can be pressed with a finger. Widgets are often packaged together in widget toolkits. Programmers use widgets to build graphical user interfaces (GUIs).

How can the widget be used?
Heineken offers users a widget both for PC and for Mac.Visitors of the website can download the widget, after which an icon will appear on your desktop. If you want to have access to up-to-date information about the UEFA Champions Leagua, you only have to click on the icon an the widget will open.

What kind of information can be found in the widget?
The Heineken UEFA Champions League widget gives the following inforamtion: Matches, Fixtures, Results, Photos & Videos, News.

Is the information always up to date?
The widget works similar to a website. If you are connected to the internet, the information in the widget will be updated constantly. If you are not connected to the internet, this is not possible.

What if I am finished with reading the widget?
You can minimize the widget by clicking on the minimization button. The widget will then be closed but will stay on your desktop as an icon. The next time you want to view the information, you only have to click on the icon and the widget will open again.

Which videos are broadcasted?
The website shows a daily video of 30 seconds which is a compilation of the highlights of the last matches played in the UEFA Champions League. The videos are daily updated.

Can I see more videos per day?
Unfortunately we can only show one video per day. Everyday a different video is shown.
